FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand ; one belong to him, and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he look back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also notice that it happened at the very lowest and sadest times in his life. This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have notice that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I dont understand why when I needed you most you would leave me." The Lord replied, " My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering; when you see only one set of footprints, It was then that I carried you." SERENITY PRAYER "God gave me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference." Im a Christian who believes that Miracle do happen,
and they happen more often to people who are positively positive. Optimism and humor can heal, just like faith with works in action achieves all easier. If we all look the bright side with a funny face, the team works to the right direction of getting things done. Its not like your Doc can write up a prescription strenght Joke and send you on your way. But dont blah blah or pooh against the power of ha-ha. Humor has been shown to boost intelligence and improve immune-cell function (which can help ward off cancer and other diseases) Not only that, but a positive attitude means your likely to do healthy acts like walk or stroll & play sports you like as well as stimulates wise appetites for choosing good food your body needs, urge that substantially keep you healthy and help the chance of survival after a heart attack, stroke or cancer. So if someone is feeling lonely, tired or distress, a good humor can heal and lightenup situations. After a long day work at night alot of people resort to a different kind of medication, youll see them watching comedies on TV. Do you know that laughter is the best lung exercise for everyone that enhance the supply of oxygen your body needs, specially the Brain? there are persons with exceptional comic character who inspite of losses, or pain, or anger, or sickness could still crack a joke. I respectfully salute that character which are so few to many of us. But a good humor always pays off a recognition they deserve, not just the loud ha ha ha, it replenish health and bring long life. The happy person has the gift to improve the environment whereever they live. Yes Humor heals, thats the miracle.
